Machine Sentry® Wireless Condition Monitoring Sensors
Machine Sentry Fixed Sensors MSF2
Reliable fixed monitoring for critical assets, hard-to-reach equipment and route-based support.
The MSF2 is a robust vibration and temperature sensor designed to extend the reach of condition monitoring across industrial sites. With tri-axial vibration measurement, Bluetooth® connectivity, long battery life and onboard memory, it helps teams collect reliable asset data with less manual intervention.
Bluetooth ConnectivityPairs with compatible Android smartphones and handheld devices, allowing data to be collected from up to 100 m away.
BatteryUp to 5 years battery life, supporting long-term monitoring without frequent battery changes.
MagnetSupports exact placement for accurate, repeatable measurements across defined monitoring points.
ATEX / IECEx / HAZLOC OptionsAvailable for use in hazardous area applications where certified monitoring equipment is required.

MemoryLarge onboard memory stores more than 5,000 readings, helping protect data continuity between collection intervals.
Vibration & Temperature SensorThree internal accelerometers provide tri-axial vibration measurement, alongside temperature data for broader asset condition insight.
Sealed to IP67Robust sealing helps protect the sensor in demanding industrial environments.
Machine Sentry® ConnectedData integrates with the Machine Sentry® platform, giving teams clearer visibility of asset condition, trends and developing faults.
Machine Sentry Fixed Sensors MSF2The MSF2 Machine Sentry Fixed Sensors can be used on a wide range of equipment, including compressors, pumps and motors as part of a condition monitoring programme. Parameters are measured in real time so any potential issues can be detected before they become failures. If an abnormality is identified, an alert is triggered. To collect essential vibration and temperature data, the MSF-2 sensor can be placed on structures and machinery wherever they are needed. Being wireless means that the sensor can be fitted in locations that would normally be difficult to monitor with a wired device. The Machine Sentry Fixed MSF-2 sensor can be temporarily installed using an optional magnetic attachment or mounted permanently for semi-continuous or continuous monitoring of your machinery. Using Bluetooth®, measurements can be collected and viewed by pairing the sensor with a handheld Android device. Alternatively, over 100 sensors can be safely connected using Machine Sentry® Gateway, and the data is collected and uploaded directly to the Machine Sentry® database to create a unique asset reliability solution. |
