What is the Machine Sentry® GatewayThe Machine Sentry® Gateway enables the creation of an industrial IOT system for your condition monitoring programme. Bluetooth® connectivity gives a fundamental advantage over traditional hardwire or Wi-Fi network solutions, enabling simple deployment, flexibility and dramatically reduced installation costs. You no longer need to use valuable operators to collect data using a handheld device. Stored measurements from your Machine Sentry® sensors are automatically uploaded to your Machine Sentry® database. The Bluetooth connection with Machine Sentry® MSF supported sensors enables simple, consistent and effective collection of vibration and temperature data from pumps, motors, fans, bearings and many other types of equipment. The technology provides a unique opportunity to increase the efficiency of assets and reduce unplanned downtime, or breakdown. The Gateway provides a secure connection to the internet using the latest security protocols, ensuring your data is safe. The Machine Sentry® Gateway scans for Machine Sentry® Bluetooth LE® vibration sensors in range, typically around a 100m radius. If readings are available, the Gateway connects to the sensor, downloads the readings, then uploads them to the Machine Sentry® system. |
