Monitoring the health of your 53B barrier fluid circulation system in your ATEX & IECEx hazardous area is easier than ever with the System Sentry® sensor.
Regulations state that high-pressure industrial systems must be monitored for both pressure and temperature but monitoring to API 682 4th edition methods is easier said than done when faced with the challenge of laying cable runs for control wiring. System Sentry® fits to the existing gas pressure port in the 53B system and reports remotely via wireless Bluetooth connectivity on both pressure and temperature, so there is no need for additional cabling. With its built-in algorithm, the System Sentry® sensor provides a regulation-compliant calculation for when a barrier fluid top-up is required. |
Operatives using the free System Sentry App or cloud-based Machine Sentry® software can be prompted to top up the barrier fluid level or notified when the system detects a change in status that requires attention.
